On Greek words for 'garlic' and a possible substrate between Greek and Semitic

Ph.d. Guus Kroonen, der netop er blevet ansat som postdoc på Roots of Europe, holder forelæsningen:

"On ἄγλις (áglis) and γέλγις (gélgis) 'garlic' and the possibility of a linguistic substrate between Greek and Semitic" 

Guus Kroonen er ph.d. fra Universitetet i Leiden (Holland). Fra 2011 erhan ansat som postdoc ved Roots of Europe med fokusområderne germanskog præindoeuropæiske substratsprog. Titlen på hans projekt er The Birthof Germanic: Linguistic and Cultural Fusion in Prehistoric North-WestEurope. Det er blevet muligt takket være et stipendium fra Rubiconprogramme of the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research.
