Ordinary Professorship to Indo-European Studies

It is with great pleasure we announce that Birgit Anette Rasmussen (Olsen) from the first of september 2019 has been promoted to ordinary professor of  Indo-European studies at Copenhagen University. A title that was first granted Vilhelm Thomsen in 1887-1914 and most recently Louis Hjelmslev in 1937-1965. With this honourable title Birgit joins a list of big names and she promotes Indo-European studies at Copenhagen University in the best way and contributes to its renown.
