New chart-topping Italian podcast »L'invasione« on the Indo-Europeans – featuring Birgit Rasmussen
Birgit Rasmussen has been interviewed for the Italian chart-toping podcast L'invasione on Proto-Indo-European and the Indoeuropeans.
Il Post has produced a new podcast on the origins and culture of the Indo-Europeans. It is written and speaked by journalist Luca Misculin of Il Post and Riccardo Ginevra, assistant professor at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano (UCSC Milan) and former Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow at Roots of Europe.
The podcast amazingly hit the top of the Italian podcast charts in its first week – even beating Elisa True Crime on January 2nd. Quite a dragon to slay for Indo-Europeanists to be the most streamed across all platforms.
Much scholarship is cited, and many experts are interviewed. Among others Kristian Kristiansen and Birgit Anette Rasmussen, who you can meet in a dubbed version in episode two »Come uccidere un drago« where she is talking about gender roles in a pastoral-nomadic society like the Proto-Indo-European one.
